Nu-Guard Anti-Carbonation Coating (HPC 09) is a water-based acrylic coating formulated to give high durability and weather resistance to surfaces. It has excellent adhesion to general masonry, especially concrete surfaces.
Nu-Guard AC provides excellent anti-carbonation properties, and will, if applied at the recommended film thickness, provide protection in excess of 10 years of protection on properly prepared sound substrates.
The coating exhibits excellent breathability. It is used for the decoration and protection of concrete against the attack of carbon dioxide, airborne chlorides, acid rain and weathering.

Normally dry and recoatable in 4-6 hours at 20°C.

Can be applied by brush, roller or spray. Two coats required. Recommended film thickness of 120 microns wet. Total dry film thickness of 96 microns.
