Hygienic cladding
Hygienic cladding to line walls and ceilings in locations where the control of germs is a priority, such as hospitals and care homes, and applications that require high standards of cleanliness like commercial kitchens, food processing areas and laboratories.
Hygienic cladding has a smooth surface and seamless joints to minimise the growth of germs, fungi or bacteria. These products can often be formed to have curved corners, eliminating the spaces where microbes can grow. In some cases the wall surface can be welded to resilient flooring, creating a curved coving.
Hygienic wall cladding facilitates easy cleaning – maintenance costs can be reduced when compared to tiled surfaces, for example.
Anti-microbial properties can also be built in to the material, so that the growth of bacteria such as MRSA in inhibited.
