Nu-Flame Timbercoat (HPC 100) is a fire-retardant, intumescent paint system for new and previously painted timber surfaces. It is a pigmented, water-soluble product that can be used internally or externally where a flame retardant topcoat is required to be applied for protection. The intumescent coating means the coating swells up when exposed to heat, thus protecting the timber underneath.
White or pastel colours.
7m2 per kg.
Requires two coats.
Touch dry: 4 hours
Recoat time: 16 hours
By brush, roller or spray.
Tested to BS 476 parts 6 and 7.
Satisfies Class 0 requirements of current Building Regulations.
