Rå Build is a flexible housebuilding method that provides a quick and efficient means of constructing a weather-tight masonry shell.

This method integrates H+H UK Ltd thin-joint aircrete, together with proprietary intermediate floors, roof trusses, felt and battens.

The inner leaf of a Rå Build is independent of the brickwork, resulting in cleaner cavities, reducing the risk of rain penetration and providing better quality control.

The Rå Build method has a very fast construction time, matching that of a timber-frame construction, but without the lead time of timber-frame manufacture.

Rå Build is manufactured by a team of expert installers specially trained to install the floors, walls and roof of Rå Build houses, including suspended ground floors, cavity insulation, felt and battens where required.

Installers seek early involvement with developers at the project planning stage and work quickly and efficiently to complete the shell of the Rå Build, so that it is then ready for internal and external finishing.

As the weather-tight masonry shell is achieved quickly, the process minimises materials wastage, benefiting the environment and saving money.

Meeting all the required Building Regulations (thermal, sound, structure and fire), the method is recognised by the NHBC and Zurich for their warranties.
