SG89 Punched (& Glazed) Aluminium Rolling Grille can be offered with counterbalanced spring & lock operation, or for those of a wider span or out of reach height we offer motorised operation with emergency manual over-rides. The SimFlex range includes high strength steel roller shutters up to 7m high, glazed models, using thick Lexan polycarbonate sheets, plastic linked grilles for bar tops, steel or aluminium tube and link brickbond grilles and perforated steel roller shutters. SimFlex's range provides flexible solutions to storefront security and design.
Curtain Construction & Weight
89mm x 19mm Interlocking flat lath with inline or brick bond slots available with either of the following slots, 150mm x 45mm, 260mm x 45mm or 280mm x 45mm providing 43%, 46% or 52% airflow. Polycarbonate inserts are available at an additional cost.

Bottom Bar & Guides
The bottom bar is 89mm x 19mm twin walled extruded aluminium with bottom rubber.
Guides are 65mm x 38mm or 75mm x 38mm Extruded Aluminium construction including brush strips. Electric shutters require 50mm x 50mm steel box section (both sides) used to allow for motor unit and safety brake. A 76mm x 50mm box section will be used for shutters over 160kg in weight

Shutter Hoods
Steel end plates with a preformed 2-piece aluminium hood. Shutter hood ranges from 250mm to 365mm subject to the size of the shutter.
Operation and Locking
Manual spring and lock operation with unique bottom lock for manual doors. Motorised with tubular 220/240 volt single-phase motor with control options including keyswitch, rocker switch, push button or remote radio control with a hand-held transmitter, manual wind and brake
Finishes/ Colour
Mill finished or silver anodised, plus polyester powder-coated (PPC) to any stocked BS or RAL colour at additional cost.
Applications
Medium level of security for shop fronts, serveries and bars where vision or airflow is required. Ideal for larger widths.
