GRC can be used in housing to produce finely detailed robust lightweight features including heads and cills, band course, jamb and mullion units, copings and door surrounds. Whilst specifiers and developers see the key advantage of GRC as being its lightweight properties.

Site experience is showing that its robustness and resistance to damage can lead to substantial savings in overall build costs and a reduction in wastage.

The unique properties of BCM GRC enable the production of products with the quality and feel of natural stone at a much reduced weight.

GRC can be moulded to complex shapes and contours and replicate fine detail. Also, being light in weight enables larger elements to be fitted without imposing significant additional loads on the existing structure.

Cornices and similar mouldings are replaced, whilst new columns or other classical features can be added to existing or new buildings.
