Integral access door
Up to 5m high
Rundum Meir's Original sliding garage doors are suitable for listed buildings, new build, conceptual architecture and replacement projects.
These doors combine the function of a garage door with an integral pedestrian door and can incorporate remote-controlled automation.
Applications have included hangars, curved buildings, boathouses and coach houses, as well as over-sized and underground multi-user garage doors.
Even children and the elderly find these doors easy and safe to handle. There are no springs, counter-weights or drop bars, no projecting swing and no risk of inadvertent dropping. Very little side-room is lost, maximising garage space.
There are virtually no width restrictions, and depending on material, the doors can be up to 5m high.
Doors can be made from a variety of timber species, such as superior spruce, hemlock, larch, oak and sapele. All timber components are hand-selected to be virtually knot free, and can be factory stained or paint finished.
Alternatively, doors can be made from aluminium with various finishes.
