Celcon Foundation Blocks for walls and foundations
Celcon Foundation Blocks can be used to support three-storey buildings and are suitable for supporting solid or cavity walls, framed constructions or suspended floors, including the H+H Beam and Block system. Available in Standard Grade (3.6N/mm2) and High Strength Grade (7.3N/mm2). The blocks can reduce heat loss from ground floors
Celcon Foundation Blocks can be used to support 3-storey buildings and are suitable for supporting solid or cavity walls, framed constructions or suspended floors, including the H+H Beam and Block system.
Available in Standard Grade (3.6N/mm2) and High Strength Grade (7.3N/mm2 - identified by black stripe on block).
The blocks can reduce heat loss from ground floors, and are exceptionally good at resisting freeze / thaw conditions.
They are also lightweight at only 1/3 the weight of equivalent dense aggregate blocks. This helps reduce the costs associated with foundations, and also speeds up construction, as there is only one wall to set and no need for wall ties or to joint perpends.
The blocks are fire-resistant (100mm walls, up to 2 hours if load bearing, up to 4 hours if not Class [O/A1] surface spread of flame), achieving Part E of the Building Regulations, both (PCT and Robust Details).
