Marley’s holistic service supported a roof reconfiguration project at a residential property in Orpington, near London.

The homeowner was looking to reconfigure the roof space and add an extension to his detached property and turned to the product solutions and technical support on offer from Marley. 

Alistair Pont, Area Sales Manager at Marley explains: “The extension gave them the opportunity to explore the possibility of putting solar panels on their roof to help offset rising energy costs and give him access to a sustainable source of energy. To ensure the homeowner was able to access the power output their home needed, Marley’s technical team got to work and devised a roofing specification.”

Part of the early discussions centred around the feasibility of incorporating a solar PV solution as part of the roofing specification. Compatible with clay and concrete roof tiles, Marley's SolarTile® was specified.
