Context

TORMAX was contracted to install a double set of bi-parting automatic sliding doors, powered by Swiss-engineered iMotion 2202 door drives, to create a welcoming and efficient new main entrance to Hobbledown adventure farm park and zoo in Surrey.

Project detail

Offering reliability and smooth operation, the doors feature advanced motion sensor technology, ensuring optimal energy efficiency and safety. An intelligent control system adapts to varying traffic patterns, minimising power consumption whilst maximising performance.

Result

The new TORMAX automatic entrance system sets the standard for a welcoming day to everyone. Visitors enter the ticket office through the outer set of sliding doors, before exiting through the second set, directly into the park. This configuration creates a spacious reception lobby area that is easily accessible for everyone, including young children, parents with children in buggies as well wheelchair users.

Testimonial

"Hobbledown is an incredibly popular local attraction with many visitors everyday", confirms Ashley Terry, at Hobbledown. "The new main automatic entrance doors help to keep foot traffic moving quickly and efficiently, especially at the start of the day when the crowds tend to arrive at once."
