RHEINZINK titanium zinc and prePATINA graphite grey cladding has been used for the facade of Ulstein Arena in the Norwegian village of Ulsteinvik.

The project has fulfilled a long-held dream for the village and the striking building, designed by Oslo-based architects Lund + Slaatto Arkitekter, combines several facilities under one roof: a multi-purpose hall, library, swimming pool and  climbing hall.

From the outset not only design, appearance and aesthetics mattered but also ecological aspects. The entire building combines climate-friendly construction with a high design standard that focuses on durable solutions with minimum maintenance, like the conscious choice of the natural material RHEINZINK.

Thanks to its attractive and modern design, the building quickly became the municipality's new landmark and a place where everyone is welcome.
