DampSafe 802-DPM is a BBA certified, 100% recycled, 1200 gauge, loose-laid, low density polyethylene damp proof membrane for use below concrete floors or screeds. 

The damp proof membrane is suitable for numerous applications within domestic and commercial properties to provide a barrier against vapour and capillary-held moisture in accordance with clause 11 of CP 102:1973 to ensure that floor finishes are dry. 

DampSafe 802-DPM is also suitable for use below;

  • heavy duty rafts
  • steel-reinforced slabs
  • basement slabs and rafts

Flexible even at low temperatures, the damp proof membrane is resistant to both ageing and cracking and is compatible with all commonly-used building materials. Plus, the damp proof membrane is easy to install with good resistance to elongation and tearing and high water vapour resistance. Seal the membrane with DampSafe 809-HP DPC to extend the damp proof membrane through the spine and exterior walls.

Aside from as a loose-laid DPM below ground-bearing slabs, DampSafe 802-DPM can be applied as a vapour barrier, slip membrane, screeding membrane above insulation and curing membrane below and above concrete slabs and rafts and to cementitious screeds, rendering and tanking.
