Newton HydroBond is a Type A waterproofing system designed to provide a complete and continuous external waterproof envelope for below-ground structures.
British Standard 8102:2009 defines Type A waterproofing as a barrier protection applied to internal or external surfaces of a structure in order to resist the pressure of water trying to enter the building.
Type A membranes such as HydroBond are used for tanking basements and other below-ground structures to protect them from water ingress.
HydroBond liquid-applied membranes
Newton 108 HydroBond-LM and Newton 109-LM are combined with the hydrophilic membrane 403 HydroBond to provide a Type A external waterproofing that is BDA certified.
The flexible, easy to apply liquid membranes are self-healing, gas-proof and can terminate directly to the above-ground damp proof course.
Enhanced waterproofing solutions
Where higher waterproofing protection is required, Newton HydroBond can be combined with Newton's Type B Newton HydroTank system, as well as its Type C Newton CDM system.
