Challenge

Cleveland Sitesafe was approached by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust with a proposal for a modular visitor centre building with a cafe and toilets at Potteric Carr Nature Reserve.

Solution

The building sits in a flood zone so is held 1m off the ground by a bespoke-designed galvanised framework, keeping it safe for the future.

The building holds an A rating in energy efficiency due to the company's construction techniques, and the use of super-efficient air source equipment for all heating and hot water purposes.

Cleveland Sitesafe also installed over 400m2 of decking at the site.

Outcome

The Trust has seen a significant increase in income from its new centre, not just from the great facilities, but from the people flow through the building, allowing both the shop and café to flourish.
