Internally there is a high level of insulation and an air source heat pump provides power to the wet heating system. This option allows the building to achieve a high rating for Building Regulations Part L energy efficiency, provides a low running cost option when only mains electric is available, and can still be secured against theft and vandalism unlike solar.
