Handspring has made a number of entrance canopies and covered walkways for new and reburbished schools and NHS buildings. These have all been of timber construction but have varied from traditional oak mortise and tennened pegged timber joints to flitch plates with massive section douglas fir to curvy gluelam beams. They have all been individually designed for the buildings they feature on.

Green roofs are a regular covereing but UK-grown cedar shingles, zinc sheet and coloured glass have also been used.
