Zinc tile cladding for Yarm school

Yarm School appointed Associated Architects of Birmingham to create a master plan, the centrepiece of which being the Princess Alexandra Auditorium, an 800-seat performance venue with studio theatre and performance suites.
RHEINZINK’s small prePATINA blue-grey tiles were used as interlocking shingles, creating interesting forms as the light within reflects on to the zinc walls beyond.
The natural zinc surface complements the historic setting but also suits the modern architecture of the auditorium.
prePATINA blue-grey was used on the exterior, and INTERIEUR blue-grey Square Tile System was used for the interior.
