Energy-saving coating systems improve tower blocks
William Pike House and Thomas England House in Waterloo Gardens, dating back to the 1960s, required upgrading. Both buildings were re-decorated with Nu-Guard® NRG Clear and Nu-Guard® NRG Colour energy-saving coating systems. Solution
Both buildings were re-decorated with Nu-Guard® NRG Clear and Nu-Guard® NRG Colour energy-saving coating systems.
Nu-Guard® NRG Clear was applied to all external brickwork and concrete panels, whilst Nu-Guard NRG® Colour was applied to the painted concrete ring beams and panels.
Outcome
Residents of the Romford tower blocks benefit from warmer and more energy-efficienct homes thanks to the home improvement scheme and new coating systems.
