Royal progress through Bilco roof hatch

When HRH the Duke of York began his now famous Descent of the Shard in September, it all began with a Bilco roof hatch. Prince Andrew emerged from a Bilco surface mounted floor door on the 87th floor of the Shard in order to access the starting point of his 239 metre abseil in aid of the Outward Bound Trust and the Royal Marines Charitable Trust
