DP Structures was commissioned by Manchester City Council to manufacture and erect a steel structure to cater for 12 traders which would replace the timber stalls at Church Street Market in Manchester's Northern Quarter.
Concept/detailed design, structural calculation, planning and building regulation approval, fabrication and manufacture, construction on site.
The structure was made up of composite insulated wall panels clad with folded stainless steel, opaque polycarbonate end arches, and a steel roof.
The roller shutters were supplied with pre-printed graphics to deter graffiti, which proved effective.
Bespoke stainless steel base guards and lighting fixtures were also fabricated by DP Structures.
