Spiral Staircase Systems

Founded in 1966 as Lewes Design Contracts, but now as Spiral Staircase Systems have built their reputation around innovative design.  The company's first design was the original DS (domestic stair), this was done using a system of cast iron brackets, laminated timber treads and handrail, and steel balustrading.  This design has been refined and is still in production today as part of the DS range, with aluminium now being used.

When required the company work with interior designers and architects throughout projects, building strong relationships, thus ensuring that the end result is elegant and affordable for clients.

Whilst the company's stairs cannot claim to be the cheapest on the market, their pricing is highly competitive in terms of the quality of design, manufacture and
installation provided.
