Holmes Miller

Holmes Miller was formed in January 2012 as a result of a merger between Holmes Partnership and The Miller Partnership, one of two of Scotland's longest-established and well-known firms.

The practice has over 60 years experience delivering innovative design in a wide range of sectors. It has unrivalled knowledge of contemporary and traditional techniques and procurement methods.

Design quality is central to its thinking. It makes use of benchmarking standards such as the Design Quality Indicator but also develop bespoke solutions where necessary, eschewing the 'one size fits all' philosophy. All issues affecting a building's performance in use, including construction quality, access, social impact, community engagement, environment and inclusivity, are given equal importance by dedicated design teams.
