Jex Engineering was established in 1973 in Grimsby - then the food capital of Britain. From humble beginnings the company steadily grew in terms of both revenue and client base.
In the 1990's regional offices were developed in Manchester and Birmingham in order to better service key clients in those areas.
The company continued to grow under its original management to a £20m turnover business. In 2007 the company was acquired by Redhall Group a niche engineering services group specialising in sectors with high barriers to entry and offering a unique model of direct delivery for turnkey projects.
In 2008 the company acquired a small stainless steel fabrication company in Trowbridge that now services their client base in the South West of England.
With Plc backing the company has defied the economic conditions and shown steady growth with
revenues in excess of £27m in 2009.
Now in 2010 Jex Engineering has grown to a leading provider of turnkey solutions to the process industries.
