Capricorn Eco Timber, established in 1992, has built substantially on its original speciality softwood origins to become a respected supplier to the UK timber trade.

Clear grade softwoods and hardwoods remain the company's main focus; Douglas Fir, Hemlock, Southern Yellow Pine, Pitch Pine, and especially Western Red Cedar, Siberian Larch and Thermowood, which support the company policy of promoting softwoods which are more naturally durable and environmentally friendly and which do not require preservative treatments.

Major investment in the company's milling operation now gives the company the facility to provide profiled sections from 6x6mm through to 200x300mm.

The company take their ecological responsibilities very seriously and invest only in procuring timber from legal and sustainable sources, augmented by Capricorn being accredited with FSC, PEFC, CSA and SFI chain of custody certification.
