Established in 1911 Steadmans, now part of SIG plc, is a UK specialist in galvanised roofing sections, composite wall and roof sheets, metal cladding, roofing products and fibre cement sheeting.

As a responsible company within the UK cladding and roofing industry, Steadmans play an active role in the following trade associations:

• EPIC - Engineered Panels in Construction

• The Metal Cladding & Roofing Manufacturers Association

• The Steel Construction Institute

Steadmans' manufacturing processes are certified to ISO 9001:2000. The AS35 insulated roof and wall panels have been tested by the Loss Prevention Certification Board to LPS 1181:1- 2003. The AS2000 slate effect roofing sheets are covered by BBA certificate 99/3641.

Besides manufacturing standard roofing and cladding panels, rails and accessories, Steadmans also produce an almost unlimited range of bespoke items for clients. Facilities enable them to undertake:
