Hand built Architectural wrought iron gates are a speciality at the forge and they can be of a very traditional wrought iron gate design or the more modern or contemporary gate design, traditional or modern.David likes to build the gate using the ancient blacksmithing techniques and jointing methods into the design. These ancient techniques have become the keystone in his work. wrought iron gates built using these traditional architectural ironworking techniques are far superior in design and build quality compared to modern fabricated so called "wrought ironwork" it is much slower to forge than to electric weld, but the difference is vast.
