Hygienic paints and coatings
Hygienic paints are typically suitable for use on walls and ceilings in hospitals, food processing facilities, laboratories, and other environments where a sterile finish is required. Anti-bacterial coatings help to inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria and prevent hospital-acquired infections such as MRSA and E.coli. Anti-microbial additives can be added to lacquers to protect surfaces from bacteria and other microbes. Mould resistant coatings are used to treat and prevent algae and fungal growth on interior walls and ceilings, where damp may be an issue.
