Key attributes
Independently tested acoustic performance at the Department of Acoustics, Salford University
Wind load capabilities
Bespoke British design manufactured in the UK to suit specifications
Robust, hardwearing construction
Performance characteristics
Sound reduction: 28dB RW

Manufacture
Door panels are made from hollow rolled steel sections with 2mm-thick flat galvanised steel facing sheets on both sides. They are infilled with a high-density insulation material to an overall thickness of 64mm.
The robust, flat-faced construction makes them capable of withstanding severe wind conditions.
Installation
Top-hung on four wheelbearing hangers that incorporate panel hinges and run in a galvanised top track. An auxiliary top track is attached to ensure the panels fold correctly.
Brass rollers connected to the bottom hinges run in a steel channel bottom track, which is set for alignment in a 200 x 100mm chase before final grouting into position.
Operation
Operated by a three-phase motor mounted on the top track with open / close / stop push buttons installed adjacent to the opening at the bunch side.
Disconnection is provided at low level at the motor side for manual operation in the event of an emergency and safety edges are fitted as standard to the leading edges.
