Manufacture

Shutter curtains are made from 100mm continuously interlocked galvanised steel laths held in place by end locks. Each lath is infilled with acoustic material and has a bottom rail with a rubber seal.

Vertical rolled steel guides in a double rebate are fitted with twin, full-height brush seals and supplied with suitable angles for fixing to the structure.

Operation

Operated by a 400-volt, 3-phase geared motor mounted on one of the endplates.

Adjustable limit switches are incorporated to stop the shutter at the end of each travel, and a safety brake is incorporated in line with current health and safety legislation.
