Thermafold 1000 insulated folding doors have energy-saving properties and an attractive appearance. Designed for use in openings up to 6000mm wide and 6000mm high, they are particularly suited to applications where a bottom track needs to be avoided, such as railway depots.

Standard specification

Panels

Door panels are constructed from galvanised steel infilled with a high-density insulation material. The panels are typically 40-65mm thick and are manufactured in various designs to suit clients' individual requirements. 

Tracks

The compact top guide track keeps headroom to a minimum. The door is supported on floor bearings at each side obviating the need for a bottom track, allowing a continuous floor surface. 

Door arrangements

The standard arrangement comprises a pair of panels each side, but the door is also available as a single or in a 1+2 configuration. Locking manual doors are fitted with espagnolette bars operable from inside and supplied with a lock cylinder and keys.

Operation

The standard version is manually operated with electrical operation an optional extra. The single phase motors are mounted at each side and operation is by open / close / stop push buttons mounted adjacent to the door. Safety edges are fitted as standard on all electric doors. Disconnection for emergency manual operation is provided at high level. 

Finish

The standard finish is galvanised with polyester powder coating or Colorcoat HP 200 in a range of standard colours an optional extra.
