Challenge

Westgate Global was contacted by British Sugar PLC, the largest sugar beet producer in the UK, with a requirement for a partitioning solution to segregate an area in its Bury St Edmunds facility to control bird contamination. The partitioning needed to flexible, given the nature of the building – an older structure with irregular shapes and multiple penetrations, including a gangway – and finding an effective and cost-efficient partitioning solution was crucial. Traditional segregation methods would have been much more complex and expensive to implement.
