Westgate Global has worked with Mace, experts in shaping the built environment, on many occasions, and with an excellent track record. The company was consulted again for a construction project at 40 Leadenhall Street in London where Mace needed a quick-to-install, 60-minute fire-rated screening solution.

Solution

Westgate Global provided and installed 230 linear metres of Hoardfast Firescreen to form corridors leading to welfare facilities and crane protection, keeping workers safe and the site secure.

Hoardfast Firescreen is a quick-to-install, modular internal screening system that can be used freestanding with Westgate Global’s unique weighted universal support, or fixed floor-to-ceiling.

Available in a range of heights, Hoardfast Firescreen panels are 60-minute fire-rated – Euro Class EN 13501-2:2008 A2 s1 d0 fire class rating and EI60 fire resistance. Panels are 80mm thick, white, steel-faced with a mineral wool filling.

Westgate Global also installed standard Hoardfast uPVC panels to form toilet cubicles on numerous levels within the project site.
