Origin French doors are manufactured in the UK from premium-grade aluminium to ensure the highest quality, strength and security. As with other Origin products, the French doors are completely custom-made and available in a wide range of colours, sizes and finishes.

Sizes

The doors are designed to fit into apertures ranging from 940 to 2400mm. For additional flexibilty, the panes (also known as ‘flags’) can be added on either side of the doors to enable them to fit into apertures of up to 3.8m.

Operation

Similar to Origin's bi-fold and single doors, the French doors can be made to open either inwards or outwards, whichever option best suits the space available. They are also hinged to open a full 180 degrees.

Materials

Origin's French doors are manufactured using prime billets of aluminium, with no re-melting of scraps. This gives control over the formulation to ensure the profiles are secure, thermally efficient, durable and low-maintenance.

Security features

8-point locking system, which exceeds Secured By Design and PAS 23/24 standards.
Chamfered 20mm linear bolts to withstand determined intruder attacks.
Cylinders/barrels are proven to protect against snapping, picking, drilling and bumping.
Strong and robust aluminium profiles that weigh 67% less than steel.

Colours and finishes

More than 150 RAL colours are available to choose from, including a dual colour option.

Matte, stain or gloss finishes can be selected for many of the RAL colours.

Handles

Origin door handles are available in a range of styles and finishes, with certain models also available in RAL colours to co-ordinated with the door colours.
