Sunbeams Music Trust is a 600m2 therapy centre which houses a number of meeting rooms and therapy rooms, a recording studio and performance space, and administration facilities to support over 1500 people each month.

The architects opted for locally-sourced, natural materials wherever possible, to suit the building's rural setting overlooking Ullswater, the second-largest lake in the Lake District. Western Red Cedar Shingles were ideally suited for the natural aesthetic.
