Nu-Guard® SR Masonry is a hydrophobic water-based, decorative, protective exterior masonry coating. It utilises silicone resin technology to provide a superior decorative weather-resistant barrier with a self-cleaning function, improved durability and dirt pick-up resistance, maintaining a cleaner surface for longer.
Due to the hydrophobic nature and non-film forming characteristics of Nu-Guard® SR Masonry it will provide full protection to the masonry substrate even in the harshest of environmental climates.

Suitability
For use on exterior facades and landscaping features, including brick, concrete blocks, cement-based renders, precast concrete, natural stone walling, concrete cladding, reconstructed stone and EWI systems - brick slips, resin plasters.
Coverage
6 – 10 m² per litre, depending on surface porosity.
Preparation
The surface must be sound, clean, dry, free from frost, laitance, oil, grease and all dust, loose and friable materials must be completely removed from surfaces before application of Nu-Guard SR Masonry.
The use of a water repellent primer – Nu Sil SR is recommended on highly porous surfaces to improve coverage rates before the first coat of Nu-Guard SR Masonry is applied.

Touch dry: 2-4 hours
Recoat time: 6-8 hours
