Ruskin College, an independent college based in Oxford, specialises in providing educational opportunities for adults with few or no qualifications.

The College's library had a lot of reflective surfaces which resulted in high levels of echo and reverberation. The college approached Soundsorba looking for an acoustic solution that would also provide a high class finish.

Woodsorba® timber acoustic panels were selected as their acoustic performance, combined with the natural wood veneer finish, provided the College with the finish they were looking for.

Woodsorba® acoustic panels are very unique as they are hard panels and this type of material would not usually be associated with sound absorption. However, using cutting edge technology, the panels are machined in such a way that they absorb sound to a high level.
