Roofdrain green roof drainage layer is made from a lightweight, perforated recycled HDPE core with geotextiles bonded on both sides, designed for extensive green roofs to manage rainwater, support plant growth, and protect waterproof membranes. Water reservoir capacity ranges from 4.5 to 5.5 litres per square metre, with an additional 1.0 litre per square metre held by the lower geotextile.

  • Lightweight drainage layer for green roofs with integrated water storage

  • Holds 4.5–5.5 litres of water per square metre in the core

  • Additional 1.0 litre per square metre water retention in lower geotextile

  • Perforated core allows excess water to drain efficiently

  • Upper geotextile filters fine particles to prevent blockages

  • Lower geotextile protects waterproof membrane

  • Made from 95% recycled materials

Applications

  • Extensive green roofs

  • Rainwater attenuation systems

  • Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDs)

  • Roof gardens

  • Lightweight roof build-ups
