Long Rake Spar has been supplying quality specialised decorative aggregates from its base in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District for over 140 years.

The company has diversified into many market sectors over the years with their Natural Selection Range of specialised decorative aggregates. The Grantex dried aggregate range continues to grow and expand, to an extent that the company are now the largest supplier to the resin surfacing industry in the UK. The Eco Roc range of recycled materials is available for use within both of these sectors.

The company's traditional strengths in providing specialised aggregates within the flooring and walling sectors of the construction industry have been maintained, which together with hard landscaping products are met through supplies to a nationwide selection of Landscapers, builder's merchants, manufacturers and contractors.

The acquisition of Meadow View Stone in December 2009 has seen the company expand further into the Garden Centre Sector. Meadow View Stone are also the sole UK distributors of Richmoor Horticultural products to the independent garden centre sector. This wide spectrum of highly decorative hard landscaping products, complimented by an established range of horticultural composts, provides a wealth of choice and ordering flexibility.
