Delabole Slate Company

Delabole Slate is a specialist producer of bespoke and traditional slate products for the building and home improvement sectors.

The company is owned and managed by the directors at its' registered office is Pengelly, Delabole, Cornwall. The company is run on a "family firm" basis and currently employs 32 people.

The name “Delybol” first appeared in 1284 and refers to “leafy pit” or, pit of leafy stone. By the time Elizabeth 1st came to the throne, the quarry was known as “Delabole” and has continued to produce the finest roofing slate, flooring, worktops and building stone to this very day.
