In Aberdeen, Fyfe Glenrock has a 160-year history of granite quarrying and natural stone processing and craftsmanship. The company has supplied the natural stone for many of the citys prestige buildings and infrastructure, in addition to servicing major projects throughout the UK.
In 2006, the company relocated to a new 1300m2 purpose-built factory and offices on a 3-acre brownfield site. Automated CNC sawing, polishing and profiling machinery, manned by experienced technicians, are operated alongside traditional masonry craftsmen.
Fyfe Glenrocks design teams work on the principal of maximum yield and minimising waste. The factory recycles 350,000 litres per day of water from its production process. Rainwater run-off is harnessed and fed back into storage tanks.
