FIS was formed in 2015 from the merger of the Association of Interior Specialists (AIS) and the Federation of Plastering and Drywall Contractors (FPDC).

FIS represents specialists in all aspects of the interior fit-out and finishes sector.

FIS works on behalf of the sector to develop skills, drive technical competence and support its community. They help members to make the most of opportunities through advice, training, technical support and dialogue with government and other stakeholders.
