Carey Glass International started business in 1965 when three brothers in Nenagh, County Tipperary decided they could make difference in the local market, as it continues to grow to a multi national concern, the same principles remain at the heart: to improve and increase the products and service offered. Initially, Carey Glass International supplied mirrors and bevelled glass as the markets developed into insulated glass and tempered glass the company installed the best equipment available and have reaped the rewards of shrewd investment. Growing with the market has meant Carey Glass now has 7 tempering plants along with 10 automated IGU production lines, the company have paint lines, screen printing, laminating in PVB as well as EVA, heat soaking and the most complicated CNC edgeworking machines to work on bespoke. The company's tempering and IGU manufacturing is based around their maximum manufacturing size of 6000 x 3210. Carey Glass International still process mirrors and bevelled glass, they have just added more to our offer over the years. .
The Carey family are still at the core of this business and they drive the way forward through an experienced and diverse management team who are experts in their field. The company's 85,000m2 production centre in Ireland is the largest single site glass processing facility in Europe
