Advanced Chemical Specialties Ltd (ACS) is a specialist company, providing a single source of high quality maintenance products and technical expertise.

Manufacturing, marketing and new product development is carried out at the companys factory in Yeovil. Production and technical staff have an average of 25 years in the chemical industry, with particular experience in the development, formulation and manufacture of new products.

The Company has developed strong, collaborative working relationships with clients such as utility companies, main contractors, architects and facilities managers to service their long term requirements.

ACS focuses on the manufacture and promotion of in situ, secondary wood preservative treatments for timber. The preservatives are mainly borate based, which includes the solid rod and the Boracol^® range of products.

ACS has a successful position in dealing with the problems of condensation and mould growth in all types of buildings. The company has an effective range of antimould coatings coupled with knowledge and understanding of the inherent problems.

The Company has extensive knowledge in the specification, use and performance of fire retardant coatings, masonry preservatives and water repellents, anti-vandal products, industrial coatings and fire proofing paints.

ACS is committed to the health, safety and welfare of all those using its products and processes. In this way the majority of the products manufactured are water based and environmentally acceptable.
