Award-winning architectural, sculptural and metalworkers based on the outskirts of the Lake District National Park, at Ulverston, Cumbria.

Established in 1994 Artist Blacksmith Chris Brammall are dedicated to the creation of the highest quality sculptural and architectural metalwork. We have been producing bespoke work for over 20 years ranging from small scale private commissions to extensive public realm initiatives and specialist fabrication.

Every client is treated as an individual and every project as a unique opportunity to allow the client’s aspirations to be achieved while creating a true ‘sense of place’.

Specialising in bespoke sculptural and architectural metal work, the scope of both our workload and our client base is extensive and as such the company operates from a 750sqm self-built workshop on the edge of the beautiful Lake District.

Projects and schemes use a wide variety of techniques, materials and finishes; including mild steel, stainless steel, corten, bronze, copper, stone, timber, glass and lighting.

Our particular specialty is in the arena of public realm pieces, and a practical robust approach is taken combined with many years experience in order to create pieces with longevity, low maintenance and anti-vandal considerations while at the same time being of the highest aesthetic value.

Our workshop includes a large purpose built spray booth for paint finishing work in-house, the premises is fully secured into ferrous & non ferrous work areas and suitably large external yard allows us to cater for even the largest of projects.

Installation of all commissions is managed by ourselves and carried out by our own workforce whenever possible, as such all site operations are carried out in accordance with the current Construction (Design & Management) Act and all staff are CSCS/PASMA accredited.
