Superfold 4000/5000 insulated folding doors are designed for high security applications that require good thermal insulation. They have been tested by the Loss Prevention Council to LPS1175 and have received approval to grades 4 and 5.
Made from internal steel channel sections with 3mm flat galvanised steel facing sheets fixed to both sides. Panels are infilled with a high-density insulation and reinforcing materials to an overall thickness of 56mm.
Each panel is fitted with high-quality EPDM sections that form a tight weather seal between the panels and around the perimeter of the door.
The panels are joined by way of continuous stainless steel hinges with concealed fixings in the reinforcing edges of the panels. The bottom hinges incorporate plated rollers to run in the bottom track.
Top hung on four wheel bearing hangers that incorporate panel hinges and run in galvanised top tracks. An auxiliary top track is attached to ensure the panels fold correctly.
The steel channel bottom track is set for alignment within a 210x75mm chase before final grouting into position. It has a unique profile that assists weather sealing whilst providing the necessary level threshold, allowing the bottom gap to be maintained within the tested dimension.
A sumpbox for drainage and dirt clearance purposes is provided as standard.
Electrically operated using an enclosed, 400 volt three-phase motor gearbox mounted on the top track. Open / close / stop push buttons are installed adjacent to the opening at the bunch side.
Emergency hand chain operation with low-level engagement is provided adjacent to the motor.
