Fireroll acoustic fire-rated roller shutters offer fire resistance with sound reduction of up to 25dB.
They are made from 100mm high, flat-section galvanised steel laths, that are continuously interlocked and held in place by steel end locks. Each lath is filled with acoustic material and a steel bottom rail is fitted at the base.
The infill material is designed to reduce sound transmission but it also reduces heat radiation, considerably reducing the risk of combustible materials being ignited on the unexposed side in a fire situation (when compared to single-skin fire shutters).
Fireroll acoustic fire-rated roller shutters are electrically operated and have adjustable limit switches to stop the shutter at the end of each travel.
- Smaller shutters are supplied with a single-phase tubular motor.
- Medium units are installed with a Speedsafe motor that allows gravity fail-safe closure in fire conditions via a fusible link or auto-reset solenoid or magnet.
- Large shutters are supplied with a three-phase geared motor that requires a maintained AC supply if self-closing is required.
Key switches, fusible links, auto-reset solenoids, auto-reset magnets, polyester powder-coated finish, fascias and safety photocells.
