Bespoke multi-functional automatic sliding door systems are designed for use in security and escape route applications. They are available a choice of openings to suit the application and can be installed as part of new-build projects or retro-fitted to existing structures.
Offering the convenience of standard automatic sliding doors in normal conditions, multi-functional doors have a break-out function to provide a rapid and reliable exit route in case of emergency, or in unusually high volumes of traffic.
Escape route doors
Escape route doors have door leaves that can be opened manually in every position, which allows the door to be opened to its maximum width in case of emergencies. As well as standard safety sensors, additional safeguards for personal safety are incorporated such as distance dictated by safety requirements, or round profiles to prevent fingers being trapped.
Security doors offer maximum protection against break-ins and vandalism. They are available with optional design features to suit client requirements such as tough aluminium profile systems and specialist seals that are designed to form a wedge and bolting system.
TORMAX security doors have approval to resistance levels 2 and 3, as defined in ENV 1627. They incorporate floor guides and manual floor locks.
