Raised access floors are suitable for commercial applications, where extensive cable management is required. Full access flooring gives access to the entire floor area, whereas partial access flooring provides access to selected areas.
Partial access flooring is a cost-effective option and provides a consistent homogenous surface that can withstand heavy traffic without distortion. Alternatively, full access flooring enables furniture to be rearranged and cables to be laid outwith the limitations provided by partial access flooring.
The full and partial access support systems are designed for applications where the sub-floor is not level. Systems can be laid at a depth between 55 and 500mm.
The access pedestals are designed to accommodate isolation pads, protecting the floor from vibration created within the structure of the building. This is especially useful in factory and airport applications, and will prevent damage to vibration sensitive equipment. The pads are able to resist vibration even under load.
