BS EN 795:1997
Weightanka, part of the Kee Anchor man anchor product range, is a portable, deadweight anchor designed for use where the installation of collective protection or permanent anchor devices is not possible.
The Weightanka system is designed for use on roofs with a pitch of up to 5°. It is the first Class E anchor device to be approved for use on all wet roof surfaces, as well as downward on metal-clad roofs (subject to the addition of two extra weights).
Weightanka uses a central pedestal (attachment point), which raises the height at which the arrest force is applied, reducing the distance the anchor device moves during a fall arrest event.
A basic system weighs only 250kg, with no single item weighing more than 25kg, which makes it very practical.
The Weightanka system is easy and quick to assemble, with fewer loose components than other systems on the market.
Weightanka has been independently tested by the National Engineering Laboratory (NEL) and is CE approved to meet the PPE Directive. The system conforms to EN 795 (Class E), BS 7883 and ISO 14567.
