This development was a large scale project in London and suitable cladding was required that would be visually striking and conform with the required fire ratings. Recent changes surrounding fire specifications on public and private housing have lead to an increase in demand for aluminium to replace condemned cladding on high-rise buildings.
Vulcan’s Screen Bar System with VucaLap WOOD is A2 fire rated and was selected for this project. The Screen Bar System is made from easily-assembled, secretly-fixed extrusions and is perfect for timber replacement and new developments.
